You are always changing…you are always in transition.
While many transitions are seamless and take little effort, others may stop you in your tracks. Sometimes you find yourself stuck because you are having trouble letting go of the past.
When I was first diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis, all I wanted to do was find an answer so I could get back to the life I had known. When no answer came, I found myself stuck. Sometimes we find ourselves stuck because what’s ahead is scary, unknown, undesirable, or worse.
Your fears of the unknown or undesireable are just words and thoughts…and you have the power to control and change those thoughts. How you view your destination greatly affects the journey. Focusing on your accomplishments can inspire you to move forward with more confidence and ease.
Since we are always in transition, let’s embrace the process!
Coaching may be helpful to those who…
- Are adopting new goals, a new purpose, a new persona – a new you!
- Have a change in life circumstances: new job or promotion, relationship breakup, health change, retirement or layoff, relocation
- Have a change in life roles: divorced or widowed, caring for elders, new parent
